Matias Gartzen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Larpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Julian Larpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Ticho during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chusca FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Remigio Bertran placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! A collision led to Sabagasta AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cristo Gau hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the game, Julian Larpe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Matias Gartzen. Julian Larpe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justino Frederik during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Justino Frederik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nereo Loren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Matias Gartzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 minutes of play, Chusca FC's Nereo Loren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Gartzen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chusca FC's Osvaldo Acevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Vidal in the 36th minute of play. A hard shot 38 in the game by Nereo Loren from a close distance when the talented Matias Gartzen managed to make a qualified save. Sabagasta AFC's players were relieved. Julian Larpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Nereo Loren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matias Gartzen. Sabagasta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nereo Loren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Armando Vidal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nereo Loren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matias Gartzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Loren in the 53rd minute of play. Silverio Abecia kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Julian Larpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matias Gartzen was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Larpe in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matias Gartzen saved Sabagasta AFC from getting behind. Julian Larpe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Larpe succeeded in the game's 87th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Matias Gartzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nereo Loren's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute, Nereo Loren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nereo Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matias Gartzen having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chusca FC had played much better football throughout.
