In the 9th minute, Sergio Mambru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hermengildo Transito. The goal made the score 1-0. Hermengildo Transito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Mambru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Desiderio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute Desiderio Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Sergio Mambru rounded Guasuncho's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jorge Rafel got free with Hermengildo Transito in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 30 played minutes Guasuncho got a freekick which was hit by Leonides Bonifaco. The long shot by Ramiro Ursino in the 31st minute really tested Hermengildo Transito's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. When Miguel Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Guasuncho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Alvarez couldn't finish the play. After 42 played minutes Guasuncho got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Oihan. Hermengildo Transito made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Salvador Dolfos sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Transito having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Mambru to strike the kick off in the second half. Desiderio Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Leocadio spun around in front of the goal 57 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Huasapampa AFC's goal. Hermengildo Transito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Mambru, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Sergio Mambru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Transito having to make a save. After having played for 79 minutes, Sergio Mambru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huasapampa AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Mambru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Huasapampa AFC's Ceferino Gervaso got control of the ball when Desiderio Leocadio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Guasuncho's zone, Sergio Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermengildo Transito came out of the goal and Sergio Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute, Sergio Mambru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Desiderio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Huasapampa AFC booed when Guasuncho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huasapampa AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ramiro Ursino in the 97th minute.
