Campbell's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Gomez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulgencio Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Criston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Campbell's Lino Gomez got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calzada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Lino Gomez scored to the left of an out of position Fulgencio Chano, making the score, 0-3. Benigno Vergaray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Modesto Cristos having to interfere. Lino Gomez got in the 84th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Fulgencio Chano handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, Calzada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Ovando to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Chano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Gomez in the 93rd minute of play.
