Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Salto AFC's Anier Chorche started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Matai in the 5th minute of play forced Cabituyo's goalkeeper Jesus Cibran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Ramiro Dimo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cabituyo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramiro Dimo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jesus Cibran was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ceferino Ondino. 16 minutes into the match, Cabituyo's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Chorche came free, but Jesus Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cabituyo's Jesus Cibran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Cabituyo from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Cabituyo's Jesus Cibran got control of the ball when Israel Perpinya tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Cabituyo getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rene Padro hit a great ball. Ramiro Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Rigoberto Iratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nemesio Frascuelo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Dimo in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Iratze saved Salto AFC from getting behind. Cabituyo's Jesus Cibran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Chorche in the 32nd minute of play. Ramiro Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Iratze having to interfere. Salto AFC's Rigoberto Iratze played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Padro in the 41st minute of play. After 45 played minutes Cabituyo got a freekick which was hit by Americo Llorian. Israel Perpinya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Jesus Cibran made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice moves Ramiro Dimo could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Rigoberto Iratze however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Cabituyo's Saul Ibon got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jesus Cibran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Perpinya in the 57th minute of the match. Rene Padro hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cabituyo's Rene Padro got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 67th match minute, Cabituyo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Padro to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute Anier Chorche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesus Cibran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesus Cibran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Chorche in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Cabituyo's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Perpinya came free, but Jesus Cibran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute, Hermengildo Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Cabituyo's Matias Bonifaco got a free kick in the 87th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
