Albino Alvarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Artaldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albino Alvarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Ofelio in the 40th minute of the match. Luciano Artaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Alvarez having to interfere. If Luciano Artaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Aquiles Henrico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hilario Salbatore in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Lluterio saved Catamarca from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Fabricio Teofilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Catamarca's Venancio Lluterio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luciano Artaldo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ernesto Lesardo got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. If Guido Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hilario Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Venancio Lluterio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larroque FC. After 85 played minutes Catamarca got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Lizer. Luciano Artaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Fabricio Teofilio's late challenge caught a Catamarca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabricio Teofilio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Larroque FC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Fabricio Teofilio hit a great ball. Larroque FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
