In the 47th match minute, Ostende AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Precioso to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Gartzea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Felix Ourente fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ostende AFC's protests and gave Felix Ourente a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Agustin Euloxu made a precise shot to the right of Anselmo Cordarrel. When the final whistle sounded Ostende AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Aldhosivi.
