Spectators: 7310 (Terracing: 5484, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) In the 3rd minute Cayetano Claris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Laurgain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Reynardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Gilberto Laurgain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tinajeros AFC's Remigio Guillelmo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Iratzeder in the 10th minute of play. Amado Thomas kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Remigio Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Claris in the 18th minute of play forced Cañada's goalkeeper Gilberto Laurgain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remigio Guillelmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Delmiro Cebo's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The supporters of Cañada booed when Tinajeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedicto Loren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafael Iratzeder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rafael Iratzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patricio Egoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. If Rafael Iratzeder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Laurgain having to interfere. Adrian Reynardo in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gilberto Laurgain, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 43 played minutes Tinajeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Matai. Delmiro Cebo spun around in front of the goal 45 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Tinajeros AFC's goal. Remigio Guillelmo came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Cañada's Delmiro Cebo. But to his dismay, Delmiro Cebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Claris made a kick off. Gilberto Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Matai's late challenge caught a Cañada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Matai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tinajeros AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Santos Matai hit a great ball. Rafael Iratzeder struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Remigio Guillelmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cañada. After 63 played minutes Tinajeros AFC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Egoitz. Celedonio Hodei hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After having played for 70 minutes, Cayetano Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tinajeros AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cayetano Claris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th match minute, Tinajeros AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Thomas to maneuver through the defense. Remigio Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Cebo in the 77th minute of play. Gilberto Laurgain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Claris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Rafael Iratzeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cañada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tinajeros AFC the free kick. Rafael Iratzeder hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Cañada's Gilberto Laurgain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Claris in the 81st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Claris in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilberto Laurgain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cañada's goalkeeper Gilberto Laurgain, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Cañada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cañada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
