Spectators: 7130 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilfredo Chus started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Esteban Ganix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rosendo Dimo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Esteban Ganix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Eriberto Gonzalez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteban Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Dimo having to interfere. 23 minutes into the match, CA Fisherton Canalla's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfredo Chus came free, but Rosendo Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guernica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roque Lucero was slow to take the kick. During this time CA Fisherton Canalla's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Roque Lucero almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guernica's Leonides Vargas did a great save. In the 29th minute Natalio Iztal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Esteban Ganix put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rosendo Dimo. CA Fisherton Canalla's Cesar Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilfredo Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Dimo having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Iztal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 57 minutes, Arsenio Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Fisherton Canalla and the Guernica players grew even worse after the yellow card. Guernica's Wilfredo Chus got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Cesar Jakobe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Melquiades Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Angelo Tohias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 71 minutes Guernica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roque Lucero who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Raimundo Boni almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guernica's Leonides Vargas did a great save. In the 72nd minute of the match Roque Lucero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Vargas skillfully saved the ball. An unexpected shot in the 75th minute by Cesar Jakobe got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guernica's Esteban Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Dimo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfredo Chus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the CA Fisherton Canalla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guernica.
