Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeo Isidor started the match with the kick off. Nirihau's Tomás Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Timo in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Julio&Agosto's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Confesor came free, but Hermengildo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Arnoldo Confesor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nirihau's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Confesor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Garci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romeo Isidor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nirihau's Arnoldo Confesor pulled a muscle in his back after 17 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Munio during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Julio&Agosto getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ruben Munio hit a great ball. After having played for 19 minutes, Apolo Che managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nirihau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Apolo Che was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Everardo Caton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hermengildo Garci made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Apolo Che sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Timo in the 32nd minute of play. Apolo Che succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 33rd playminute. 39 minutes into the match, Apolo Che had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hermengildo Garci. Julio&Agosto's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Apolo Che was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Fausto Dino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermengildo Garci having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Apolo Che was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Romeo Isidor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Julio&Agosto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Isidor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio&Agosto's Alejandro Timo suffered a fractured collar bone after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. If Apolo Che had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Urre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hermengildo Garci read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Julio&Agosto's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Dino came free, but Hermengildo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hermengildo Garci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Che in the 65th minute of play. Everardo Caton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Israel Peru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Garci showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apolo Che, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Fausto Dino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hermengildo Garci having to make a save. If Everardo Caton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Julio&Agosto's goal looked a bit too open when Apolo Che came free, but Hermengildo Garci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 80 played minutes Nirihau got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Caton. A collision led to Nirihau getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Everardo Caton hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Isidor in the 83rd minute of play forced Nirihau's goalkeeper Tomás Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Fausto Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nirihau's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Dino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hermengildo Garci breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
