Maximo Fonso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 45th minute Eusebio Ostargi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Veto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teobaldo Peyo made a kick off. During the 53rd minute of the match Saverio Txema completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saverio Txema a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 54th match minute, Los Xeneizes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Txema to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute, Dinamo Kiev's Teobaldo Peyo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Dinamo Kiev were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
