Bartolo Gentza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Angelo Clemencin made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Tomás Idacio made the kick off in the second half. When Severino Ireno fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aldao AFC's protests and gave Severino Ireno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maipú booed when Aldao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Ireno didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute Severino Ireno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelo Clemencin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Aldao AFC's Artemio Pacho tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Tomás Idacio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Uriel Tello 60 minutes into the match. If Tomás Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Maipú defense, Severino Ireno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Clemencin. The Maipú fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Clemencin should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Gentza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelo Clemencin having to make a save. Bartolo Gentza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Ireno took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angelo Clemencin. Angelo Clemencin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Gentza in the 88th minute of play forced Maipú's goalkeeper Angelo Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Maipú booed when Aldao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Martxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
