Cortaderas's Joel Chayo got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horacio Intxixu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evaristo Terciero might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Jusepe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Terciero ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Chayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cortaderas's Jacinto Jusepe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Cortaderas from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Horacio Intxixu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cortaderas's Teobaldo Ortzi couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vila. Geronimo Arano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Julian Egoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vila fully deserved thier win.
