Marcos Roderigo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cosme Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastian Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paolo Oinatz having to interfere. Cayetano Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meestoymeando FC's goalkeeper Cosme Belarmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Cayetano Peruxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcos Roderigo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cosme Belarmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cleto Luar during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Meestoymeando FC defense, Marcos Roderigo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Belarmo. The Meestoymeando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Belarmo should have stopped the shot. Marciano FC's Cayetano Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd match minute, Meestoymeando FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Ebardo to maneuver through the defense. If Marcos Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Meestoymeando FC's Antonio Sesuldo got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Marciano FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cayetano Peruxu made a kick off. Marcos Roderigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cosme Belarmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcos Roderigo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cayetano Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Belarmo having to interfere. Marciano FC's Marcos Roderigo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Sebastian Telmo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Meestoymeando FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Telmo couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Marciano FC's zone, Sebastian Telmo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paolo Oinatz came out of the goal and Sebastian Telmo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Meestoymeando FC's Prospero Kismi suffered a sore knee after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Angel Mendebal's late challenge caught a Meestoymeando FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angel Mendebal helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Marciano FC got a freekick which was hit by Angel Mendebal. Claudio Beliran was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aquiles Hernando hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcos Roderigo got free with Cosme Belarmo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 89 minutes, Sebastian Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meestoymeando FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Telmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tadeo Haimar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Paolo Oinatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Marciano FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Angel Mendebal hit a great ball. In the 95th minute Cayetano Peruxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Belarmo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Marciano FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
