The audience thought a goal was coming when Cayetano Obano got free with Alejo Oinatz in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pastor Gomez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Chinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Arbolito FC booed when Vilela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Hodei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaudencio Claus shot from long distance in the 30th minute, but Alejo Oinatz was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Pastor Gomez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Hermengildo Santio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pastor Gomez, 0-1. If Cayetano Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the match, Vilela FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anastasio Pudes came free, but Alejo Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Loiola hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. Alejo Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Claus in the 100th minute of play.
