In the last second Edgard Lartaun throw himself and got hold of the ball when Elpidio Elazar in the 24thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Carolo Ilazki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Natalio Daunte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elpidio Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Seme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgard Lartaun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Bernardino Seme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Edgard Lartaun made a huge save. During the 40th minute of the match Alvaro Napier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alvaro Napier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Potrero AFC's Alvaro Napier got a free kick in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ambrosio Chayo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardino Seme struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Edgard Lartaun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potrero AFC.
