Spectators: 7217 (Terracing: 5414, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Blas Perez made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Benedicto Gai got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Schaqui FC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Haroldo Veto hit a great ball. Segundo Olayo scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulino Lobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Blas Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dimas having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedicto Gai in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Lobo saved Schaqui FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Benedicto Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot. BOCA jrs's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Gai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Lobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of BOCA jrs booed when Schaqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Veto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Benedicto Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulino Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BOCA jrs's Segundo Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Gai in the 38th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Benedicto Gai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Schaqui FC's Paulino Lobo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Schaqui FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BOCA jrs were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedicto Gai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulino Lobo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by BOCA jrs's Segundo Olayo. But to his dismay, Segundo Olayo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After some careless play in the BOCA jrs defense, Blas Perez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Dimas. The BOCA jrs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Dimas should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Dimas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Onofre in the 64th minute of play. Segundo Olayo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Paulino Lobo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA jrs. When Benedicto Gai came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the BOCA jrs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benedicto Gai couldn't finish the play. Blas Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Dimas having to interfere. Bartolo Dimas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedicto Gai got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 1-3 in the right cross in the 77th match minute before Paulino Lobo had time to react. After having played for 81 minutes, Benedicto Gai managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOCA jrs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Gai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benedicto Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Lobo having to interfere. Rafael Chabier kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
