Amenábar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Victorino Uzuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geronimo Patrido in the 10th minute of the match. Desiderio Ferman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Amenábar booed when La Tercera es la Vencida was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Maore didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Tercera es la Vencida's Victorino Uzuri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save La Tercera es la Vencida from getting a goal against them. Guillermo Aureo charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Aureo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Ospin in the 19th minute of play forced Amenábar's goalkeeper Americo Ongile to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute, La Tercera es la Vencida's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Geronimo Patrido fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. La Tercera es la Vencida's Victorino Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geronimo Patrido in the 34th minute of play. Victorino Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geronimo Patrido, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, Geronimo Patrido dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Victorino Uzuri, 2-1. Desiderio Ferman might have been able to make a better finish in the 49th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Victorino Uzuri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Desiderio Ferman ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Patrido to strike the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Ferman in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victorino Uzuri saved La Tercera es la Vencida from getting behind. If Venancio Maore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Geronimo Patrido came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Amenábar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Patrido couldn't finish the play. Desiderio Ferman took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Uzuri. Victorino Uzuri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 79th match minute, La Tercera es la Vencida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Venancio Maore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in La Tercera es la Vencida's zone, Desiderio Ferman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Uzuri came out of the goal and Desiderio Ferman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geronimo Patrido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victorino Uzuri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Ferman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Matai during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 90 played minutes Amenábar got a freekick which was hit by Christian Matai. After a defensive mix-up in La Tercera es la Vencida's zone, Geronimo Patrido stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorino Uzuri came out of the goal and Geronimo Patrido tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La Tercera es la Vencida's Victorino Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Ferman in the 98th minute of play. Matias Lonzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 101st minute. Americo Ongile tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Amenábar had played much better football throughout.
