Albino Lamberto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Potrerillos AFC's Albino Lamberto got control of the ball when Daniel Urtungo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ernesto Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Elixio in the 14th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Candelarias's zone, Everardo Fertus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Feliu came out of the goal and Everardo Fertus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Urtungo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Albino Lamberto made a huge save. Romulo Elixio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ernesto Feliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Manex in the 27th minute of the match. With his leg Albino Lamberto managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Candelarias's Daniel Urtungo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Pero in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Lamberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Candelarias booed when Potrerillos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Humberto Pero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Lamberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Humberto Pero in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Lamberto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Humberto Pero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albino Lamberto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Everardo Fertus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Urtungo came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albino Lamberto could save by the left post. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Dante Manuelo's late challenge caught a Potrerillos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Manuelo helped the player get up and apologised. Candelarias's Ernesto Feliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Candelarias from getting a goal against them. Damian Paul hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Elixio in the 58th minute of play forced Candelarias's goalkeeper Ernesto Feliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Pero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Lamberto having to make a save. 64 minutes into the game, Humberto Pero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Candelarias's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Potrerillos AFC the free kick. In the last second Ernesto Feliu throw himself and got hold of the ball when Romulo Elixio in the 71stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Humberto Pero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Albino Lamberto having to make a save. In the 79th minute, Humberto Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Albino Lamberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Candelarias's Daniel Urtungo in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
