No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Epifanio Orlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Manni went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. When Gerardo Rolado came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Clausurada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Rolado couldn't finish the play. Pastor Dimas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Epifanio Orlan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 80 minutes into the match, RAYO DEL SUR's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Rolado came free, but Epifanio Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Rolado was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Clausurada's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Raimundo Manni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Rolado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clausurada's Gerardo Rolado got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. RAYO DEL SUR succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Clausurada had controlled the match.
