After 4 minutes of play, Los pozos's Romulo Silbestre made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Leguizamón was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Silbestre in the 7th minute of play forced Cipolleti's goalkeeper Niceto Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romulo Birjaio in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niceto Leguizamón prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Niceto Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Leguizamón came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Los pozos's Romulo Silbestre. But to his dismay, Romulo Silbestre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Romulo Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Niceto Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Romulo Silbestre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niceto Leguizamón was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Niceto Leguizamón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Niceto Leguizamón showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Birjaio in the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Silbestre in the 46th minute of play forced Cipolleti's goalkeeper Niceto Leguizamón to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute, Romulo Birjaio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Los pozos were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marco Eli made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Romulo Silbestre had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Leguizamón. Cipolleti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. Felipe Irrintzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Niceto Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Los pozos's Romulo Birjaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Niceto Leguizamón. Niceto Leguizamón yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. Rigoberto Pepillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Niceto Leguizamón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niceto Leguizamón was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rigoberto Pepillo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 72 minute of play. Romulo Silbestre came free with the goalkeeper in the 80th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Niceto Leguizamón could save by the left post. Niceto Leguizamón didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-9. Romulo Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niceto Leguizamón having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romulo Birjaio in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niceto Leguizamón saved Cipolleti from getting behind. Los pozos played a much better game than Cipolleti and deserved their victory. The Cipolleti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
