In the 15thth minute of the game Faustino Telesforo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ulises Futbol Club's Marcos Bertin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Sugoi in the 17th minute of play forced Atheletic's goalkeeper Lisandro Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicasio Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Faustino Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Faustino Telesforo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marcos Bertin. That made the score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. Marcos Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Telesforo in the 29th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Atheletic got a corner. Ulises Futbol Club's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Everardo Oxarra ran over to the corner to take the kick. Atheletic's Faustino Telesforo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marcos Bertin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Lisandro Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Cresenciano in the 35th minute of play. Nicasio Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marcos Bertin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 minutes, Abel Sugoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ulises Futbol Club and the Atheletic players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abel Sugoi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ulises Futbol Club's Marcos Bertin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Ulises Futbol Club from getting a goal against them. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Faustino Telesforo made a kick off. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Atheletic's goalkeeper Lisandro Rios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victoriano Cresencianos short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Lisandro Rios to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Rigoberto Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Atheletic's Gogo Piarres got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tomas Baumar was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Atheletic's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Sugoi came free, but Lisandro Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
