The corner ended in Anier Pagomari almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Cerrillos's Niceto Arias did a great save. Chuchucaruana's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Gaston Chucho scored to the left of an out of position Gabriel Indar, making the score, 1-0. If Anier Benitez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chuchucaruana's Gabriel Indar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Chucho in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bonifacio Paskal in the 27th minute of play forced Cerrillos's goalkeeper Niceto Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerrillos's Niceto Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Paskal in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrillos's zone, Bonifacio Paskal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Arias came out of the goal and Bonifacio Paskal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute Bonifacio Paskal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bonifacio Paskal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Arias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Paskal in the 44th minute of play. Cerrillos's Niceto Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Telmo in the 45th minute of play. Niceto Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, Cerrillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Quin to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Cerrillos's zone, Anier Pagomari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Arias came out of the goal and Anier Pagomari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Chuchucaruana's Bonifacio Paskal got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Niceto Arias was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bonifacio Paskal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. Anier Benitez kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Niceto Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cirilo Telmo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Niceto Arias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Telmo ran back to his position shaking his head. Cirilo Telmo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cirilo Telmo struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Niceto Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chuchucaruana. In the 92nd minute Bonifacio Paskal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Arias made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Rafael Mirande sent off a good shot on target. The Cerrillos supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chuchucaruana's performance. The match ended with a win for Chuchucaruana.
