Ermegildo Belasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. R.central's Ambrosio Cristofor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Ostargi in the 19th minute of play. Arnoldo Ostargi might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ambrosio Cristofor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arnoldo Ostargi ran back to his position shaking his head. Pedro Cordara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Abarca having to interfere. After 23 minutes, Hilario Gartzea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Calfucurá and the R.central players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Hilario Gartzea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Calfucurá's Arnoldo Ostargi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Cristofor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ambrosio Cristofor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Belasko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Hilario Gartzea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 35th minute, Prospero Ongile made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Abarca. Calfucurá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Pedro Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tadeo Abarca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Cordara went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Ostargi was the one to do the kick off. Prospero Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tadeo Abarca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in R.central's zone, Ermegildo Belasko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Cristofor came out of the goal and Ermegildo Belasko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Cordara's late challenge caught a Calfucurá's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Cordara helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 61 minutes, Pedro Cordara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. R.central's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedro Cordara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Cordara got free with Tadeo Abarca in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute, Desiderio Barrionuevo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ambrosio Cristofor came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Calfucurá's Ermegildo Belasko. But to his dismay, Ermegildo Belasko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ermegildo Belasko in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Cristofor saved R.central from getting behind. A collision led to R.central getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Pedro Cordara hit a great ball. Pedro Cordara hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Calfucurá's Rolando Medardo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for R.central. After having played for 92 minutes, Arnoldo Ostargi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calfucurá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnoldo Ostargi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedro Cordara got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Pedro Cordara hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched R.central eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
