Nicolas Vincent stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Mauro Gartxot. 0-1. 16 minutes into the game, Julio Esquipula was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bompland AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dipaqui FC the free kick. If Reynaldo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Paulino Anaya had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Gartxot. Dipaqui FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulino Anaya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After 34 played minutes Bompland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Martino. Dipaqui FC's Arnulfo Oihan got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Reynaldo Ritchie got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 2-2 in the right cross in the 43rd match minute before Hernan Abaunza had time to react.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Anaya made a kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Arnulfo Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dipaqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Oihan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 58th minute Everardo Stanislao suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Armando Martino's late challenge caught a Dipaqui FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Martino helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Bompland AFC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Martino. Paulino Anaya's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Gartxot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Mauro Gartxot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulino Anaya's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Reynaldo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dipaqui FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Reynaldo Ritchie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Abaunza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute, Teobaldo Fliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Bompland AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teobaldo Fliz to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Dipaqui FC's Ulises Orlanda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hernan Abaunza came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dipaqui FC reached it. Reynaldo Ritchie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Ritchie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Hernan Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulino Anaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Reynaldo Ritchie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dipaqui FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reynaldo Ritchie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dipaqui FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
