The referee ignored MESSI10's protests and gave Vicente Gabrio a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amado Servando got free with Christian Rico in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute of the match Cristian Txordon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ubaldo Chucho skillfully saved the ball. Leonardo Semeno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Christian Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Rico made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Amado Servando sent off a good shot on target. In the 45th minute, MESSI10's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amado Servando fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Servando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Ubaldo Chucho as he didn't even see the shot coming.
