Kala FC's Silvio Refugio quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cienaguita's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Hugo Argenis scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Kelemen, making the score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Kala FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Esquipula came free, but Fulgencio Erroman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cienaguita's Evaristo Quirce got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Clemente Baumer charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clemente Baumer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulgencio Erroman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicasio Mikeldi went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Fulgencio Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Idacio in the 31st minute of the match. Fulgencio Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Vigil in the 32nd minute of play. Saturnino Idacio scored 1-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulgencio Erroman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute Isaias Esquipula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fulgencio Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Idacio in the 37th minute of play. Silvio Refugio hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Saturnino Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fulgencio Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Vigil, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Fulgencio Erroman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Vigil in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Argenis to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Silvio Refugio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kala FC and the Cienaguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cienaguita booed when Kala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Refugio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fulgencio Erroman was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Evaristo Quirce capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evaristo Quirce really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Silvio Refugio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Kelemen having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Cienaguita's Fulgencio Erroman threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Quirce, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The long shot by Albino Hulberto in the 70th minute really tested Fulgencio Erroman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 71 played minutes Cienaguita got a freekick which was hit by Albino Hulberto. 75 minutes into the match, Kala FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Erroman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aquilino Vigil. Fulgencio Erroman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Esquipula, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Hugo Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Kelemen having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Kala FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Erroman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Saturnino Idacio. In the 90th minute Evaristo Quirce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Kala FC's Fulgencio Erroman got control of the ball when Aquilino Vigil tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquilino Vigil in the 95th minute of play forced Kala FC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Erroman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute of the match Albino Hulberto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Erroman skillfully saved the ball. Cienaguita played a much better game than Kala FC and deserved their victory. The Kala FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
