Marciano Ascencio came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Circulo Trovador's Rosendo Mendez. But to his dismay, Rosendo Mendez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Pabla in the 8th minute of play forced Circulo Trovador's goalkeeper Armando Bladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romulo Pabla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Armando Bladi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Lopes in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Armando Bladi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 19th minute Romulo Pabla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Bladi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Circulo Trovador's Armando Bladi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Circulo Trovador from getting a goal against them. Armando Bladi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Pabla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Romulo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aristides Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bladi having to interfere. Aristides Lopes might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Bladi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Lopes ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rosendo Mendez was the one to do the kick off. Angel Teodor scored 1-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Armando Bladi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Romulo Pabla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Bladi having to interfere. Romulo Pabla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 61st minute, Abelardo Henry made a precise shot to the right of Armando Bladi. Circulo Trovador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 66thth minute of the game Aristides Lopes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Circulo Trovador's Armando Bladi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Circulo Trovador's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Henry came free, but Armando Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Jimeno Sayvion charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jimeno Sayvion the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jimeno Sayvion kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Armando Bladi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Pabla, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee ignored Circulo Trovador's protests and gave Serafino Lluc a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, Circulo Trovador's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Pabla came free, but Armando Bladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mataldi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
