Eustaquio Gorosti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacinto Eleazar went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luján's Primitivo Domenec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Luján from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Luján getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Cesar Firmin hit a great ball. When Cesar Firmin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 13 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Luján's Cesar Firmin got a free kick in the 13th minute. Menduk FC's Hugo Nataniel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Mateo Nuñez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Menduk FC's Eustaquio Gorosti. Eustaquio Gorosti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Primitivo Domenec made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Nataniel in the 22nd minute. Mateo Nuñez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hugo Nataniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Osvaldo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Solustiano during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, German Solustiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Nuñez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustaquio Gorosti read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Osvaldo Bixintxo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mateo Nuñez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gavino Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Primitivo Domenec took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Bixintxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Luján:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Menduk FC:s goal. The referee gave Menduk FC a penalty, 70 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Guillermo Dubardo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Luján's Primitivo Domenec. 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in Menduk FC's zone, Dionisio Seme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Gorosti came out of the goal and Dionisio Seme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st match minute, Menduk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Geofredo to maneuver through the defense. Luján's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
