Spectators: 6681 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Severino Perrando kicked off to start the match. Leonides Ireno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Ralondo having to interfere. In the 4th minute Alberto Lizardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco Ralondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Emeterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the game, Leonides Ireno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Velez Sarsfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Samuhú FC the free kick. Leonides Ireno hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. If Robustiano Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Lizardi in the 23rd minute of play. Francisco Ralondo came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Velez Sarsfield's Robustiano Emeterio. But to his dismay, Robustiano Emeterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Alberto Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velez Sarsfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto Lizardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Ralondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Samuhú FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Tadeo Fraco hit a great ball. Francisco Ralondo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Emeterio in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Samuhú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Emeterio came free, but Francisco Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonides Ireno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severino Perrando hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Samuhú FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Velez Sarsfield were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robustiano Emeterio was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Samuhú FC's goalkeeper Francisco Ralondo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Lizardi. Robustiano Emeterio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Francisco Ralondo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Velez Sarsfield. Alberto Lizardis short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Francisco Ralondo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Alberto Lizardi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Francisco Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Robustiano Emeterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Ralondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuhú FC's Francisco Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Samuhú FC from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes into the match, Samuhú FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Emeterio came free, but Francisco Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Velez Sarsfield's Alberto Lizardi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Francisco Ralondo. Francisco Ralondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Francisco Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Emeterio in the 85th minute of the match. If Alberto Lizardi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
