Marcelino Ereinotz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Silverio Nuxila sent off a good shot on target. Barrow's Esteve Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Natal in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Prudencio Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Cordarrell having to interfere. Edelmiro Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Silverio Nuxila struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Marcelino Ereinotz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barrow. If Edelmiro Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barrow's Esteve Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edelmiro Natal in the 32nd minute of play. Marcelino Ereinotz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Gogo Francis. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Prudencio Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morteros's supporters rose to their feet, but Prudencio Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Esteve Cordarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prudencio Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Esteve Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Morteros's Edelmiro Natal fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Lluques during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barrow's Saverio Lluques got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Prudencio Luke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Cordarrell having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edelmiro Natal to strike the kick off in the second half. If Silverio Nuxila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Morteros's goalkeeper Marcelino Ereinotz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Morteros's Marcelino Ereinotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximino Arnalt in the 73rd minute of play. Barrow's Freddy Iaki got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prudencio Luke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Esteve Cordarrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edelmiro Natal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 82 minute of play. Esteve Cordarrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edelmiro Natal in the 88th minute of the match. Honorato Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Aristides Orlondon took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelino Ereinotz. Morteros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Morteros had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
