Joaquin Horado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Eliu having to interfere. Kokimbo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximo Bernabel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Orlanda in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Eusebio Orlanda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Machaditos's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Orlanda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Bernabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kokimbo FC's Maximo Bernabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kokimbo FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Kokimbo FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Lisandro Constancio hit a great ball. Eusebio Orlanda's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximo Bernabel firmly grabbed it by the left post. Maximo Bernabel made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Eusebio Orlanda sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Los Machaditos walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
