The score was now 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, Pipinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Eztebe came free, but Ulises Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Colmena fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Pipinas AFC a penalty, 16 minutes into the game. Amador Cristos's late challenge caught a Pipinas AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Pipinas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Inge to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Abel Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulises Hug showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Santikurtz in the 55th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Evelio Lizar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Inge got free with Sixto Errapel in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Pipinas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Cristos came free, but Ulises Hug reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Inge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Colmena's zone, Evelio Lizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Errapel came out of the goal and Evelio Lizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pipinas AFC's Victor Inge got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Andres Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Inge hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute of the game, Dionisio Ubarna landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. David Gregory charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Gregory the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Colmena getting a freekick after 90 minutes play.
