Teodoro Fidensio went to the cornerflag to take it. Marcos Elivareo hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Benvide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Elpidio Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Feliciano Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Benvide, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Feliciano Ekain was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Delmar Nesto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edelmiro Benvide stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Ekain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edelmiro Benvide's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Santa Sylvina's Marcos Elivareo got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Elpidio Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santa Sylvina's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elpidio Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Feliciano Ekain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Benvide in the 82nd minute of play forced Coatin FC's goalkeeper Feliciano Ekain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
