Severo Sanchez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Simon Luzaide came out and tried to block the shot, but Severo Sanchez slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 19th minute. After 28 played minutes Atencio got a freekick which was hit by Serafin Gil. Marcial Onbera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Simon Luzaide when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Simon Luzaide made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Onbera in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Panacón's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ezkerra came free, but Timoteo Iliana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Severo Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Panacón! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Simon Luzaide showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Sanchez in the 72nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Onbera in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Luzaide saved Atencio from getting behind. Timoteo Iliana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcos Serapio in the 75th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Atencio's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Onbera came free, but Simon Luzaide reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Marcial Onbera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
