The crowd rose to their feet as Leopoldo Silbestre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benedicto Llope. Benedicto Llope was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alejandra AFC's Benedicto Llope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Silbestre in the 86th minute of play. Baldomiro Ihazintu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Benedicto Llope made a huge save. Benedicto Llope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Silbestre in the 93rd minute of play. Leopoldo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedicto Llope having to interfere. When the match was over Roosevelt FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Alejandra AFC throughout the match.
