Ramon Iban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 22 minutes into the match, Ancaján FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Rumaldo came free, but Ramon Iban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Ancaján FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rigoberto Min who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Rigoberto Min almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ancaján FC's Ramon Iban did a great save. Ramon Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rafe in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Lehior during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Tello got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Lehior. In the 33rd minute Ciro Cordero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejo Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Lino Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejo Gomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Cordero in the 40th minute of play. Lino Rafe might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramon Iban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lino Rafe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ancaján FC's goalkeeper Ramon Iban, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ancaján FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lino Rafe to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Lino Rafe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tello's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Rafe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leandro Indartsu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 57th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alejo Gomez. Tello's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th match minute, Ancaján FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Sotero to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Iban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Rafe in the 61st minute of play. Baldomiro Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ramon Iban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Rumaldo notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ancaján FC's Ramon Iban. Ramon Iban was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ancaján FC's zone, Lino Rafe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Iban came out of the goal and Lino Rafe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Celestino Beila managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ancaján FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Beila was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Lino Rafe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Iban was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Genaro Markel hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. When Celestino Beila came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Ancaján FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Beila couldn't finish the play. If Ciro Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tello walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
