Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Laureano Firmo made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Languiñeo booed when Rosario Central FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Gaur didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Arnulfo Rius's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolas Vergaray was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Arnulfo Rius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnulfo Rius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicolas Vergaray having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rosario Central FC's Zacarias Gaur got a free kick in the 18th minute. Dario Poncio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Nicolas Vergaray tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Rius in the 23rd minute of play. Faustino Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Vergaray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Rius, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Faustino Bernat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Languiñeo's zone, Arnulfo Rius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Vergaray came out of the goal and Arnulfo Rius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Languiñeo's Nicolas Vergaray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnulfo Rius in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46thth minute of the game Arnulfo Rius who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Languiñeo's Nicolas Vergaray was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Arnulfo Rius made the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Rius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Languiñeo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Rius fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gogo Balendin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Abilio having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Languiñeo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Firmo to maneuver through the defense. If Arnulfo Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Zacarias Gaur came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Rosario Central FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zacarias Gaur couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Vergaray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacarias Gaur in the 83rd minute of play. Arnulfo Rius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Vergaray when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Faustino Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute Arnulfo Rius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Vergaray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Vergaray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Rius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Faustino Bernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Arnulfo Rius who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 93rdth minute tested the skills of Nicolas Vergaray when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 95 minutes, Faustino Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rosario Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faustino Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laureano Firmo's late challenge caught a Rosario Central FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Firmo helped the player get up and apologised. Laureano Firmo kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
