Spectators: 7230 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 100) A collision led to Algarrobal AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Humberto Esquipula hit a great ball. Elpidio Tiniebra kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Cienaguilla FC's Ovidio Rosio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Esquipula in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cienaguilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Amor came free, but Ovidio Rosio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humberto Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Rosio having to interfere. Humberto Esquipula received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ovidio Rosio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Humberto Esquipula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ovidio Rosio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Placido Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Alejandro Frans sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cienaguilla FC's Ovidio Rosio didn't even have to move. In the 31st minute Placido Amor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Placido Amor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Algarrobal AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Amor in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ovidio Rosio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Placido Amor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute Atilano Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Rosio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Cienaguilla FC fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Cienaguilla FC's Donato Balasi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Amor made a kick off. Placido Amor might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ovidio Rosio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Amor ran back to his position shaking his head. Humberto Esquipula took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Rosio. Ovidio Rosio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Humberto Esquipula came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Algarrobal AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Esquipula couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Cienaguilla FC's zone, Placido Amor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Rosio came out of the goal and Placido Amor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Algarrobal AFC's Humberto Esquipula got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nicasio Herauso fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Algarrobal AFC's protests and gave Nicasio Herauso a yellow card for diving instead. Nicasio Herauso hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Humberto Esquipula could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Ovidio Rosio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Amor in the 87th minute of play forced Cienaguilla FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Rosio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Esquipula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Rosio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cienaguilla FC's Casimiro Gombal got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded Algarrobal AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cienaguilla FC.
