Cayetano Montez struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Justo Raulo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mudshovel FC. If Cayetano Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the game, one of Farillón:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Francisco Artaldo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Justo Raulo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cayetano Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Justo Raulo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farillón's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 63rd minute, Farillón's Santos Leizarraga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jeremias Chus. Jeremias Chus yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Francisco Artaldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The audience was convinced that Santos Leizarraga's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Chus was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
