An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Paskal in the 17th minute of play forced Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Efrain Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Efrain Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Amor in the 18th minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Luisito Paskal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Efrain Gaztea. Luisito Paskal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Teofilo Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Efrain Gaztea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marciano Sarracino in the 39th minute. When Teofilo Marquez fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estudiantes de La Plata's protests and gave Teofilo Marquez a yellow card for diving instead. Marciano Sarracino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Efrain Gaztea made a huge save. Efrain Gaztea came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Abogadros FC's Marciano Sarracino. But to his dismay, Marciano Sarracino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Paskal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Efrain Gaztea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Sarracino in the 54th minute of play. Luisito Paskal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardo Orlandus charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardo Orlandus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bernardo Orlandus hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the game, Luisito Paskal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Efrain Gaztea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 69 minutes, Luisito Paskal made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Estudiantes de La Plata's Efrain Gaztea tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72ndth minute of the game Luisito Paskal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de La Plata's Efrain Gaztea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de La Plata's goalkeeper Efrain Gaztea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Paskal came free, but Efrain Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A wasted opportunity for Abogadros FC. 97 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Paskal came free, but Efrain Gaztea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Paskal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Efrain Gaztea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Abogadros FC had won after a very even match.
