The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Paolo Dalmau kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fernando Goizeder. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Edgard Kaxen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Edgard Kaxen put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Goizeder. 36 minutes into the match, Misión FC's goalkeeper Fernando Goizeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgard Kaxen. Misión FC's Fernando Goizeder proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Misión FC from getting a goal against them. Roque Celipe missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 41 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Wilfredo Olentzaro right hand side. Jairo Fidele hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute Jairo Fidele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Goizeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Edgard Kaxen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Fernando Goizeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Fidele in the 75th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Misión FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Dalmau came free, but Fernando Goizeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Misión FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sixto Brais hit a great ball. Jairo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Goizeder having to interfere. Los De Siempre's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
