Defensores Unidos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Mikeldi should have stopped the shot. Nereo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Mikeldi having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Defensores Unidos's zone, Anier Roldanillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Mikeldi came out of the goal and Anier Roldanillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clemente Mikeldi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anier Roldanillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute, Nereo Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anier Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Roldanillo in the 20th minute of play forced C. A. Defensores Unidos's goalkeeper Clemente Mikeldi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clemente Mikeldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anier Roldanillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Clemente Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anier Roldanillo in the 52nd minute of play. Anier Roldanillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Clemente Mikeldi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anier Roldanillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. A. Defensores Unidos's goalkeeper Clemente Mikeldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nereo Mateo.
