To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Dalmacio Gaxan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Blas Flor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anacleto Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Flor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anacleto Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Stoners F.C. getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vicente Ugaitz hit a great ball. Stoners F.C.'s Blas Flor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dalmacio Gaxan in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th match minute, Stoners F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Chabier to maneuver through the defense. If Anacleto Matteo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blas Flor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Matteo in the 39th minute of play. Blas Flor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anacleto Matteo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Anacleto Matteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Blas Flor was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

When the match was over Club Atletico Patronato could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Stoners F.C. throughout the match.
