Jose Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Esteve Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Esteve Bikendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Filipo in the 16th minute. Bonifacio Abechuco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Denis Pinto went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Denis Pinto came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Montecarlo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Pinto couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Luzaide in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bonifacio Abechuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Narciso Luzaide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 31 minutes into the match, Jose Filipo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Bikendi. Montecarlo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Filipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jose Filipo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Esteve Bikendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jose Filipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Bikendi didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 48th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1.

If Ariel Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute of the match Eriberto Remigio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Esteve Bikendi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Pongos de Gonnet's Victoriano Perutxo got a free kick in the 71st minute. Narciso Luzaide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bonifacio Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Luzaide, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Everardo Maule blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Bikendi having to make a save. Alejo Jerardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Bikendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejo Jerardo in the 85th minute of play. Bonifacio Abechuco was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Narciso Luzaide capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Narciso Luzaide really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Alejo Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Esteve Bikendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Pongos de Gonnet. Victoriano Perutxo hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match.
