In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altamirano's goalkeeper Adan Ekaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marloneta AFC's Diego Ler got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Marloneta AFC's Benicio Odol, in the 37th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Marloneta AFC. After 38 minutes of play, Marloneta AFC's Diego Ler made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adan Ekaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the match, Altamirano's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Quintun came free, but Adan Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Altamirano getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gilberto Ler hit a great ball. Altamirano's Adan Ekaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benicio Odol in the 44th minute of play. Dario Araoz fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 48th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dario Araoz to make the kick off. Dario Araoz's late challenge caught a Marloneta AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltasar Perico blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Sotero having to make a save. 67 minutes into the match, Altamirano's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Odol came free, but Adan Ekaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Niceto Nataniel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adan Ekaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 73rd minute Diego Ler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Ekaitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
