Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Salomon started the match with the kick off. Ovidio Qwinton hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. A collision led to Apuyaco getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Guillermo Gudesteo hit a great ball. After 12 played minutes Apuyaco got a freekick which was hit by Ovidio Qwinton. If Silvio Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Domeka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Ambrosio Ticho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacobo Bartoleme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Cosme Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ambrosio Ticho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Salomon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes, Apuyaco's Santos Txordon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ambrosio Ticho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Apuyaco reached it. Apuyaco's Alfredo Nesor got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Quinten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cosme Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Bartoleme made a kick off. In the 55th play minute Zeledon Domeka came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ambrosio Ticho. 0-1. In the 70th minute Jacobo Bartoleme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 81 in the game by Zeledon Domeka from a close distance when the talented Ambrosio Ticho managed to make a qualified save. Ojito FC's players were relieved. Apuyaco's Zeledon Domeka got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cosme Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Bartoleme in the 93rd minute of play. The Apuyaco supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Apuyaco would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
