Remigio Teodor's late challenge caught a Rosa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MORO's Remigio Teodor got a free kick in the 22nd minute. 28 minutes into the match, MORO's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Inguma came free, but Jairo Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisito Javiero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Dominic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute Venancio Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute of the match Arturo Matthew sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jairo Esiquio skillfully saved the ball. MORO's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Venancio Inguma 47 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cirilo Katia scored 2-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Esiquio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venancio Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Esiquio having to interfere. Luisito Javiero might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Romulo Dominic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luisito Javiero ran back to his position shaking his head. Rosa were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of MORO for a fine match.
