The supporters of Sleeping Forest booed when Saint Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Cresenciano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sleeping Forest's zone, Victoriano Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Jesco came out of the goal and Victoriano Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute of the match, Melchor Lon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisito Jesco saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Melchor Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Jesco having to interfere. 12 minutes into the game, Marcelino Alonso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sleeping Forest's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saint Germain the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sleeping Forest's Marcelino Alonso got a free kick in the 12th minute. With a little luck, Sleeping Forest's Luisito Jesco got control of the ball when Geronimo Admon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Saint Germain booed when Sleeping Forest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Peyo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bernabe Ariando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaspar Tauro was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Gaspar Tauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Ariando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, Justino Elia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaspar Tauro. Saint Germain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Justino Elia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ovidio Unai hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Sleeping Forest's Eduardo Telo in action when he in the 49th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance!

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernabe Ariando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geronimo Admon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Geronimo Admon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saint Germain fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 65th minute, Bernabe Ariando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Geronimo Admon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Luisito Jesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Justino Elia came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Sleeping Forest fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Elia couldn't finish the play. Luisito Jesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Lon in the 97th minute of the match. Marcelino Alonso was shown his second yellow card after 97 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcelino Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
