Eulalio Basajaun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 18 played minutes San citrones got a freekick which was hit by Anier Natal. Eulalio Basajaun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gustavo Monico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

San citrones's Anier Natal got his second yellow card of the match in the 81st minute. The referee ordered Anier Natal off the ground. A collision led to San citrones getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Anier Natal hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in San citrones's zone, Lisandro Milian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gustavo Monico came out of the goal and Lisandro Milian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 86 minutes into the game, Lisandro Milian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gustavo Monico. Lisandro Milian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, San citrones's Saverio Dolcet got a free kick in the 91st minute. Deportivo Devoto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gaspar Dabi in the 94th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gaspar Dabi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustavo Monico quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When the referee ended the match the San citrones players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
