Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paranay FC's Delmiro Flor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Lazzarino FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herminio Araoz to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes Lazzarino FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilfredo Ekain. 5 minutes into the match, Paranay FC's Robustiano Reyes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gustavo Banegas struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Teo Dino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paranay FC. In the 13th minute, Delmiro Flor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 19 minutes into the match, Lazzarino FC's goalkeeper Teo Dino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Banegas. Delmiro Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Teo Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Delmiro Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Lazzarino FC's Wilfredo Ekain got a free kick in the 40th minute. The long shot by Robustiano Reyes in the 41st minute really tested Teo Dino's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Flor in the 43rd minute of play forced Lazzarino FC's goalkeeper Teo Dino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Paranay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Araoz came free, but Luis Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lazzarino FC's Teo Dino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Flor in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hugo Aguirre was the one to do the kick off. Luis Vito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Aguirre, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. If Delmiro Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Banegas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teo Dino was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Herminio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Vito having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paranay FC's zone, Hugo Aguirre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luis Vito came out of the goal and Hugo Aguirre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes of play, Paranay FC's Gustavo Banegas made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teo Dino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 82 played minutes, Paranay FC's Lucio Inguma shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Teo Dino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Paranay FC reached it. Delmiro Flor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute Gustavo Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Dino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Teo Dino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paranay FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
